The fizz biz
Article Abstract:
Anee-Claire Taittinger is managing director of Societe du Louvre, a lury goods and hotel company. Hotels account for most of the profit of the group, and two thirds of its turnover. Taittinger has made some disposals, and plans to make more, but she opposes a break-up of the company. The company's stock pricer has risen since she took over. Dissident stockholder, Asher Edelman, claims illegal manipulation of stockholders' votes. His questions could help Taittinger perform her role better.
