PowerGen in the light of day
Article Abstract:
The PowerGen headquarters building was designed to be naturally well-lit and to have little impact on the environment with low energy consumption and operating costs. The building has double-paned glazing which are clear apart from the slightly tinted upper windows to reduce sun transmission. Powergen staff enjoy working in the building because daylight levels and the general atmosphere is good.
