The impact of human resource management on organisational performance: theory and research
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly widely accepted that there is a clear link between corporate human resource management (HRM) approaches and financial performance. However, HRM practices still differ widely, and some are even in direct conflict with each other. Recent research has looked at some of the models and studies which have focused on the link between HRM and company performance. It was found that HRM practices can be very powerful in motivating staff to behave in ways which back up a company's competitive strategy.

A framework for diagnosing human resource management practices
Article Abstract:
Ten criteria can be used to cover the practices and policies which companies might use to recruit and keep staff and to measure their human resource activities.
