Article Abstract:
Pharmaceutical manufacturers view electronic materials as a marketing tool but only up to a certain extent. They believe that e-materials will not replace print materials that are sent to doctors. At the same time, physicians use their computers mainly to record accounting and scheduling of patients. It is the specialists who are more predisposed to using the computer since they are the ones who are involved with research and work in hospitals and teaching centers.
