Pollution in Mexico City has reached dangerous levels. The ozone level of the city's atmosphere has reached as high as 398 points, well above safe levels. Mayor Manuel Camacho prohibited the use of 3.5 million of the city's cars, in an attempt to bring down ozone levels.

The mushroom cloud over art
Article Abstract:
The 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan, is not often depicted in art because of social stigmas and an attitude of uncertainty associated with the act. The city does not have much in the way of memorials to the event because it represents defeat.

A new particle detector being developed at the Centre for Particle Astrophysics in Berkeley, CA, will hopefully be able to find the weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPS) that theoretically comprise the dark matter of the galaxy.
