Want Want's bite of China
Article Abstract:
Want Want Holdings' share price fell 23% at the close of trading on the first week of September 1997 but investment advisers still recommend buying the company's shares. The company commands a great deal in the Chinese snack food market and the apparent success of one of the company's products pushed the company's stocks to unrealistic levels. The downgrade is just a result of price equilibrium and does not mean that the company is losing market share or profitability.
