Why Europe's paper firms struggle

The European Union paper industry is beginning a rebound from stiff market competition and a strong Euro. Prices for paper that are approximately 20 percent less than in 2001 are increasing. Chinese exports have cut into the European market with paper production making China the second largest worldwide producer.
