An insight on the extension of the scope of Accounting Standards Board FRED 30 proposed in June 2002, is presented. The various amendments to FRED 30 such as amendment to draft Financial Reporting Standard (FRS) International Accounting Standard (IAS 32) 'Financial Instruments: Disclosure and Presentation' and amendment to draft FRS (Part of IAS 39) 'Financial Instruments: Measurement' are highlighted.
