Article Abstract:
TASC, Inc., Reading, Mass., is being awarded a $99,768 increment as part of a $5,874,159 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the development of theoretical foundations and innovation technologies that enable dynamic information control and subsequently to integrate and transition the resultant technologies into DoD pilot services and operational environments. Work will be performed in Reading, Mass., and is expected to be completed by March 17, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited by Commerce Business Daily/Broad Agency Announcement on May 8, 1998, and 27 bids were received. The U. S. Nichols Research Corp., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $4,050,000 increment of a $9,560,398 (base year total) cost-plus-fixed-fee, multi-year contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $36,072,963, if all options are exercised. The project is for systems design, development and technical support services for the Joint Theater Air & Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 18, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 75 bids solicited on Nov. 20, 1998, and five bids were received. The Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (DASW01-99-C-0026).
