In business members' best interests
Article Abstract:
The Board for Chartered Accountants in Business (BCAB) is providing its members with a wide array of services aimed at increasing members' awareness of the organization's functions. Among the BCAB's projects are a legal fees protection plan that insures the propagation of accounting standards and assists in the execution of legal action in cases regarding employment issues, a management indemnity scheme that provides liability coverage for corporate directors and executives, career guidance booklets for business members, and a series of trade books published jointly with Gowar Publishing Co. A Financial Executives Group is also being established as a venue for discussion among senior financial executives. A conference that will focus on business specializations will be held from Oct 8-10, 1992 and will be open solely to BCAB's business members.
