WMD detection gear at ports falls short: GAO
Article Abstract:
A new report from the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) reports that systems that contractors provide to detect weapons of mass destruction secreted inside cargo containers on ships might not work well enough to ensure safety from terrorist smugglers. The GAO has recommended that the government should set requirements for these systems.
