There is an increase in the use of database services by Western European businesses. A twenty-five per cent increase in sales is expected each year until 1987. Total sales are expected to reach $1.8 billion in 1987. The services most frequently used are marketing information, financial services and credit information. The United Kingdom, West Germany and France represent the largest users. A chart illustrates database services by country.
