TEC Corp. offers the FS-1658HT electronic cash register that targets small hotels and pensions. Aside from accommodating four-digit room numbers, the product allows operators to register prepayments by clients as deposits ad settle accounts are at check-out time. The main operating unit of the product sells for 750,000 yen ($5,597), with an 80,000-yen ($597) user program installation fee, 10,000-yen ($75) thermal logo installation fee and 30,000-yen ($224) customer management software fee. The FS-1658HT can also be linked to the optional DRS-209 remote slip printer, which costs 145,000 yen ($1.082).
