Cardiologists find that the perfectionist, overachieving type A personality is more prone to developing heart disease than the more flexible, resourceful type B, who is more likely to attain the highest corporate positions. This is an area for research in preventive medicine.

Jet lag is experienced by most business travelers who pass through several time zones in a short period of time. Symptoms include fatigue, depression, and insomnia. The most important factor in combating jet lag is rest. Exercise, light meals, and avoidance of alcohol and caffeine are also helpful.
