Freedom Golf tees up its first infomercial

Freedom Golf in late Mar 2001 will launch its first marketing campaign with a 30-minute infomercial for its new Freedom 345 Fairway Wood. Hosted by Gary Carter, a member of the Celebrity Players Tour, the infomercial will feature testimonials from Larry Laoretti, winner of the 1992 US Senior Open; Harold Henning, a member of the Senior PGA Tour; and Steve Gatlin, a country singer and member of the Celebrity Players Tour. Aimed at golfers who have handicaps of 13-25, the informercial will also feature testimonials from amateur golfers on site.

Aussie Nad's tries to lift appeal in U.S

Aussie Nad's US Corp will introduce in Mar 2001 a new 30-minute infomercial for its Aussie Nad's Hair Removal System in a effort to appeal more to US consumers. The advertisement is aimed primarily at women ages between 20 and 50. Filmed in a discount shopping mall in California, the infomercial will appear in around 800 national broadcast and cable stations in the US and in international markets, such as Argentina, Australia, Japan, South Africa and the Netherlands.
