Concave utility on finite sets
Article Abstract:
The instant at which a preference relation on a finite set has a concave or a strictly concave utility function is provided. The concave utility problem is first translated into an equivalent system of linear inequalities for obtaining a concave utility function.

A search model of two-sided matching under nontransferable utility
Article Abstract:
A search model, using a marriage market interpretation, of two-sided matching under nontransferable utility is described. The term "search" refers to the conditions that agents have to costs to find a partner in the absence of a central matchmaker.

Branching bandits: a sequential search process with correlated pay-offs
Article Abstract:
A model of a sequential search process for the best outcome of many multi-stage projects is presented. The payoffs to various actions are correlated and it is shown that the optimal strategy is given by a simple reservation price rule.
