Cambridge officers under fire for Capsa fiasco
Article Abstract:
An inquiry into the gross failure of the Capsa financial system is currently underway at Cambridge University. Initial reports target incompetence on the part of two of the university's senior managers, Joanne Womack and Tim Mead. Both are taking outward responsibility for the fiasco, while also blaming the university's governing culture which discourages individual authority. The report concludes that the university needs to develop better standards of accountability as a result.
