Article Abstract:

Publication of the analysis will provide an overview of the financial health of universities and the view is that the next CSR will not see a significant rise in public funding.

College budgets set to be slashed
Article Abstract:
Colleges in England could face serious funding cuts next years as a result of learning and skills council discussions to cut the current UKPd5 bil budget for colleges in England by between 2% and 10%, or UKPd100 mil to UKPd500 mil, in order to plug a shortfall in the overall further education budget. It is feared that the bulk of the cuts could hit courses that have been created in order to widen access to higher education.
