Article Abstract:
The future of Earth's environment is uncertain, as chemical pollutants have damaged breathable air and the ozone layer. Air pollution is particularly prevalent in Third World countries because they are dependent on fossil-fuel burning for energy. Scientists should share their knowledge with poor nations to help them protect the environment.

People's paradise, scholars' purgatory
Article Abstract:
In North Korea, despite having to struggle with limited resources, cold, hunger and the demands of a totalitarian regime, students and academics are still curious and upbeat. It is argued that despite these hardships, if the chance were to come around, many real scholars could emerge from inside North Korea's borders.
