Irrational response
Article Abstract:
An analysis of the impact that personal, emotional issues have on the running of universities and colleges. It is contended that these institutions like to put forward the idea that they are managed on a purely rational basis and that in order to put the lie to this assertion, those that deal with the personal issues should stop doing so.

Article Abstract:
An analysis of the use or uselessness of the majority of meetings held within universities. It is argued that the purpose of these meetings is to give the illusion of democratic participation in university life, when in fact all the really important decisions are made elsewhere.
