Article Abstract:
A study of students' ideas about tutorials in the Oxford University reveals that students look up to tutorials just to improve their performances in the exam and not as opportunities to develop their ideas and broaden their knowledge. The intense competition and the pressure put on students with increased number of competitive exams are blamed for narrowing their approach towards learning.
