Organising the free for all system
Article Abstract:
It is argued that the electronic highway Joint Academic Network (JANET) and broadband SuperJANET should continue to be free of charge to all users. It is suggested that more attention by channeled towards improved access and development of the information base. Details of some of the information services currently available from JISC are given, including AGOGG, BUBL, MAILBASE, UKOLN, and BIDS, to name a few.

Michael Halls-Moore, a postgraduate taking a PhD in aeronautical engineering is seeking sponsorship to become the first student space tourist. He has set up a website to explain his plan and to raise funds for the trip, hoping that popularizing space travel could make it cheaper in future.
