Car stereo suppliers, confident of a continuing economic recovery, are introducing broad new lines of autosound products. Alpine has introduced a new five model ETR line priced from $180 to $380. JVC, Autotek, Jensen, Sony and Sanyo have also introduced new lines. Aiwa has introduced its first line of car stereo products.

CES Answerer Market Alive with New Suppliers, Features

Most telephone suppliers are jumping into the booming answering machine market. Uniden, Kraco, and Conair have introduced models. The answerer market has been growing fifty percent a year. Unit sales are expected to reach 2.9 million in 1984. A photograph of a Panasonic machine is shown.
