Today's smarter multiplexers can do more, control more
Article Abstract:
Multiplexers are incorporating more smart features. The latest multiplexers can act as digitial motion detectors, provide 60 field per second encoding, and can decode other manufacturer's encoding protocol. Recent multiplexing technology also offers more control and systemization such as those found in small matrix switchers. Moreover, multiplexers are becoming more cost-effective.
