On the provision of excludable public goods
Article Abstract:
A voluntary or excludable public good is non-rivalrous product or service that can only be enjoyed by consumers by paying a fee or buying another enabling commodity. A study is conducted that relates voluntariness in financing and in consumption that is not congested. It considers a setting in which free-riding is irrelevant and consumers can have access to a non-rivalrous commodity by paying an all-or-nothing price. Results show scale economy effects and the force of egalitarianism influence the pricing of the commodity.

Misperceived job hazards and welfare
Article Abstract:
The welfare consequences of the misperception of occupational hazards by workers are examined using an expected ex post welfare approach. Results reveal that the misperception of job hazards entails a classic externality which can cause the production of commodities made under conditions hazardous to workers to become inadequate or socially excessive. Results also show that studies focusing on monopolized sectors are sufficient for making comparisons with competitive and efficient industries.
