Past insights for present problems
Article Abstract:
The development of mental health care has been shaped by historical precedents which have become the basis for the system in use today. There have been many innovative mental health carers who pushed the boundaries of care, often at their own risk. He believed in listening to patients and treating them as compassionately as possible.
