Azodicarbonamide inhibits T-cell responses in vitro and in vivo
Article Abstract:
The drug azodicarbonamide inhibits CD4 T cells and may be useful in treating inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders. Mice with a skin allograft that received the drug had delayed graft rejection. The drug also has anti-HIV activity.

Gene expression profiles of laser-captured adjacent neuronal subtypes
Article Abstract:
The authors discuss the methods of displaying microarrays of genes to observe forms of expression. They explain a technique whereby additional information can be gathered by adding in the use of laser capture microdissection.

The Ets protein PEA3 suppresses HER-2/neu overexpression and inhibits tumorigenesis
Article Abstract:
The DNA-binding protein PEA3 downregulates the HER-2/neu promoter gene, which is overexpressed in some tumors. This technique could be used in other diseases characterized by overexpression of certain genes.
