Changing times: changing practice
Article Abstract:
The Nursing Times has developed a home study package called 'Changing Practice' which will particularly help nurses who wish to undertake further study but have other constraints on their time. The study units consist of study notes and a video and can be purchased for 12.99 pounds sterling each. They can be used as part of a continuing professional development program. The aim of the study units is to help nurses give better quality care to their patients by using techniques and advice which have been proven through research and in clinical settings.

So you want to be a ... reflexologist
Article Abstract:
Helping people overcome pain through the use of body stimulation and a sympathetic understanding of the human body is an ideal starting point for nurses who wish to train as reflexologists. Feet are regarded as the window to the body, with reflexologists stimulating different areas of the foot to treat different underlying problems within the rest of the body. Trainee reflexologists need to pick a reputable course, with the government having introduced standards for the practice.
