Electrical safety: steer clear of the most common OSHA violations
Article Abstract:
Electrical safety is one Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulation that is usually violated by companies. OSHA statistics reveal that about $3.3 million in penalties were imposed on companies as a result of 4,730 inspections from Oct 1997 to Sep 1998. Companies planning on conducting electrical safety audits must hire the services of trained professionals since they are more familiar with OSHA electrical standards. The eight most commonly violated OSHA electrical standards are presented.
