Eye protection
Article Abstract:
As per the National safety Council, in 2002, there were 42,286 fatal eye injuries, with about 12,420 of these injuries having occurred in the manufacturing industry. This translated into over $300 million loss per year, according to the Department of Labor. The major reason for these injuries is due to employees not wearing safety eyewear or wearing scratched and unsafe eyewear. Another reason is employeesE reluctance to use eyewashes. An overview of the latest eye protection products is presented.
