Profiling cancer expression
Article Abstract:
A better method of classifying cancers which is needed to help predict clinical outcome and make most of the available therapy for which microarray technology is studied. It is too early to see the effect of the technology in the clinic, although an important feature of microarray analysis were its lack of bias that allows microarray based cancer classification to be systematic and not limited by the previous biological knowledge.

Bad seeds
Article Abstract:
Rous strain of avian sarcoma (RSV) is identified as temperature sensitive for transformation, implying that RSV contained an 'oncogene' conferred its tumorigenic properties in chickens. It provides evidence of the presence of genes related to viral oncogenes in the genomes of healthy vertebrates, proving that 'the seeds of cancer are within us'.
