Reanalysis of the effects of air pollution on daily mortality in Seoul, Korea: a case-crossover design
Article Abstract:
Bidirectional control sampling was found to be necessary to control confounding effects of seasonal patterns of air pollution and time trends in air pollution levels in a case-crossover analysis of air pollution epidemiology. Air pollution was determined to be probable factor in premature death.

Particulate air pollution and daily mortality on Utah's Wasatch Front
Article Abstract:
Stagnant air pollution in three Wasatch Front metropolitan regions in Utah have shown stronger association with elevated mortality than windblown dust particles. The areas of Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Provo/Orem were studied from 1985-1995 to provide this data.
