Remembrance of foods

Certain foods can evoke pleasant memories from childhood or the more recent past. Foods that one's mother used to cook or that were eaten on a first date or other memorable occasion help bring back more details of those memories. Adults should be free to enjoy those comfort foods occasionally, but should also be careful not to let them turn into unhealthy habits.

Opposites attract

A man who had to work to stay slim married a thin woman who seemed to indulge constantly in high-calorie foods. He learned that she seldom ate these foods but just kept them visible to create the illusion that she enjoyed eating. Each modified their behavior and helped the other.
