Safe design improves your bottom line
Article Abstract:
Engineers will have to face the challenge of integrating safety into their professional and personal practices. Integrating safety in design is a wholistic process in that it covers areas such as reducing workplace hazards, from purchasing equipment, designing workstations and using ergonomics to maintenance and production. Safety through design results to increased productivity, cost reduction, quality performance and competitiveness. These four factors make up a good organizational design which can be acquired through proper training and formal education.

Don't stand for chemical exposure
Article Abstract:
Business owners must equip their workers with protective garments in order to prevent the prevalence of work-related injuries or disorders. One of most widely used protective apparels employed by firms are chemical-resistant footwears. These boots, which come commercially in three different types, are usually made of synthetic materials necessary to prevent the feet from coming in contact with chemicals and toxics.
