Article Abstract:
Reorganisation of nurse education has challenged nurse educators. Nursing school mergers have reduced the number of teaching posts. Nursing course, Project 2000 has placed greater emphasis on higher academic qualifications. The academic emphasis has allowed the teaching of non-clinical subjects by non-nursing specialists. However, reorganisation has also provided opportunities for tutors' further professional development.
