Yellow fever is a serious disease, which can be prevented by vaccination and those considering traveling by areas where it is endemic, need to ensure that they take the necessary precautions to prevent its transmission. The causes of yellow fever and the course of the disease are discussed, emphasizing the importance of immunization to control it.
