The division of retirement and health benefits on divorce
Article Abstract:
The growing number of marriages that end in divorce has seen the division of retirement and health benefits for employees and their spouses. Despite the profound ramifications of divorce on pension benefits, legislatures have not done anything to resolve the problem. To do this, they would have to devise methods of apportioning pension benefits between husband and wife.
