The benefits of partnering
Article Abstract:
Partnering is a form of construction industry alternative dispute resolution now being used in the building of the Tren Urbano regional rail transit project in Puerto Rico. Partnering is a risk-management technique in which industry participants such as owners and contractors establish a common vision for the project. Participants then hold partnering sessions to achieve several goals including identification of project risks and alternatives to likely disputes.
