Carlton plans high level restructing
Article Abstract:
Carlton Communications plans to implement a management restructuring that will see the entry of three new executive directors and the replacement of retiring managing director June de Moller. The three executive directors will head the television, products as well as the film and video divisions, while the successor to de Moller is expected to be an outsider, who is influential with the City. Aside from improving the reputation and profile of the company, the restructuring is also intended as a response to City opinion that the company operates with too much autonomy and does not have enough top-level managers.
