ITV revamps image with on-air facelift
Article Abstract:
ITV, a television network, is repositioning itself with a new image starting with a new logo starting October 1, 1998. The new logo, which will be shown on air, reportedly cost less than 50% of the 1.5 million pounds sterling it cost for its old logo. English + Pockett was commissioned to design and produce the new logo by John Hardie, ITV's director of marketing and commercial. ITV, however, will not likely incorporate the new logo with its regional broadcasters' on-screen identities until early 1999.
