Fine-tuning
Article Abstract:
A pilot retuning scheme has been launched in Wallington, Surrey, in preparation for the launch of Channel 5 on January 1 1997. The pilot scheme will cover 10,000 homes and it will identify how problems with the retuning scheme can be overcome. The retuning service will take around 25 minutes in the home and it will be provided free by Channel 5. It is suggested that there are still uncertainties over the quality of reception.
