BSkyBhas recently secured deals for exclusive coverage of the rugby league, the golfing Ryder Cup,cricket home one day internationals, and Frank Warren's boxing matches. Sky launched itssecond sports channel in 1994 and it already boasts exclusive coverage of Premier Leaguefootball, the cricket World Cup, and England's overseas Test matches. An overview of the impactof sports coverage on Sky's audience figures is provided.
