Poland and NATO - The way forward

Poland is observed as a reliable partner of NATO, which is properly prepared for concrete actions and even in extremely difficult situations. The process of transformation of the Polish Armed Forces is going as per the plans, with stable sources of financing and with the political consensus of the majority of parliamentary groups.

Poland, after the NATO membership, had to address the disproportion between its military potential, and the corresponding capabilities of other members of the Alliance. It had to undertake some steps to change the structure of its Armed Forces in order to enhance their effectiveness.
