Poland opens a roving eye with PRP-25
Article Abstract:
The Gdansk-based division of the Przemyslowy Instytut Telekomunikacji (PIT, Warsaw, Poland) has developed the mobile PRP-25 Gunica passive surveillance system, which will be operational by 2008. The PRP-25 Gunica, the first PIT-developed system in which the detection and monitoring channel is equipped with a Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) sub-channel, is intended to increase the capabilities of the mobile electronic reconnaissance units of the air force.

Polish Army purchases FONET
Article Abstract:
Poland's leading private defense electronics company WB Electronics is supplying an initial batch of 90 FONET systems to the Polish Army. The sale is part of an agreement with the Siemianowice Slaskie-based WZM company to provide up to 690 FONET sets and at least 313 display terminals through to 2013.
