Back to Bosnia: Canada joins a U.S.-led NATO force
Article Abstract:
NATO plans to deploy 60,000 troops by Feb 1996, in Bosnia, in an effort to enforce the Dayton peace accord. The 1,000-member Canadian contingent has been assigned to the Northwest corner of Bosnia around Bihac, and will be in charge of repatriating 23,000 Muslim refugees.

The peace broker: Bill Clinton basks in the glow of U.S. superpower status
Article Abstract:
Tentative peace accords were reached in the Middle East and in Bosnia during Oct 1995. Pres Clinton played an important role in negotiating both accords. This may revive the US's standing as a world power and improve Clinton's image regarding foreign affairs.
