Cadillac's new roadster goes for cutting edge
Article Abstract:
General Motors' Cadillac division has proposed a two-seat roadster that sports the sharp-edge styling currently employed by rivals at Ford Motor. The proposed roadster, dubbed "Evoq," displays the intersection of arcs and creases similar to concept cars made by Ford's Lincoln brand. Evoq would measure approximately 169 inches long and would have a 110-inch wheel base to help ensure a smooth ride. It would be powered by a Cadillac Northstar V-8 engine and be billed as an ultra-sophisticated, luxurious two-seater roadster. The car is to be unveiled at the auto exhibit in Detroit, MI, on January 1999. However, GM has not made a decision on whether to produce the car.

Minimize your chances of crashing
Article Abstract:
People who are driving vehicles on Firestone tires should check to see if their tires belong to the recalled P235/75R-15 size ATX or ATX models or same-sized Wilderness ATX stamped VDHL that have been built at Bridgestone/Firestone's Decatur, IL, factory. If these tires cannot be replaced immediately, drive instructors and engineers have offered a number of tips on how to help avoid tread separation and what to do when driving if a tread separation occurs.
