Canada gains partial softwood victory

Pierre Pettigrew, Canada's Trade Minister, announced that a new ruling on the U.S./Canada softwood lumber trade will allow Canada to avoid high duties. A NAFTA panel has ruled that the high U.S. duties on Canadian lumber violate the trade agreement.
