Appeals Court Tells S.E.C.Director Rule Needs Review

A federal appeals court ruled that the Securities and Exchange Commission must produce a cost-benefit analysis in order to justify a rule that regulates mutual fund boards of directors, and if a re-vote then required, the outcome may change because of chairman William H. Donaldson's upcoming resignation.

Cheap Seats Provide View Of Troubles At Exchange
Article Abstract:
The price of a seat on the New York Stock Exchange is down 63 percent since 1999. The drop in price indicates a less active stock market as well as uncertainty about the exchange itself.
