Pengrowth Energy Trust would buy all conventional oil and gas assets of Murphy Oil Corporation, which are located in Western Canada. The amount of the deal is struck at dollars 550 million, dollars 320 million of which would be paid through an interim loan from Pengrowth's leading bank.
