Spinoff to skew TSE weighting

Montreal, Que.-based BCE Inc., which is led by president and chief executive officer Jean Monty, has spun off most of its 37% stake in Brampton, Ont.-based Nortel Networks Corp. BCE's move resulted in a dramatic rise for Nortel's weighting on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
